Kashmiri Noon Chai

What do I need ? 

1. Kashmiri Khawa from TVHT 3 tsp (6grams) this tea is a short cut 

2. ⁠water 2 cups

3. ⁠salt half tsp 🧂

4. ⁠baking soda (khane ki soda) 1/4th tsp 

5. ⁠ice water 1 cup 

6. ⁠sugar 3-4 tsp (as u prefer)

7. ⁠salt sugar 🧂

8. ⁠cut pistas or rose petals (for garnish)🌹

How do I make it ?

1.In a milk  🥛 or chai pan add the Kashmiri Khawa tea with water 

2.Let it boil for a minute or two. Now add the baking soda 

3.Now boil this mixture to half the quantity around 10mins should be fine. Switch off gas 

4.Add ice water to this hot tea. 

5.The base or Khewa is now ready to use. Strain and store in fridge.

6.Add boiling hot milk 🥛 and sugar (ideally it’s salty however some people don’t want salt)to this base whenever u want to enjoy this delicious pink tea. 

7.Garnish with Pistachios or Almonds  or rose petals from the TVHT pack.
